McGill University’s Marvin Duchow Music Library features the Centennial

Originally, our “Radio and the Performing Arts” exhibit was planned to be installed on the walls of McGill University’s Marvin Duchow Music Library. Because of the library’s closing in response to the Covid-19 crisis, this original plan was sadly not to be. Still, the Centennial team and the staff of the Music Library collaborated to create virtual content that featured and accompanied the online exhibit.

On July 7, 2020, Head Music Librarian, Houman Behzadi, interviewed SQCRA President, Alain Dufour, and Centennial Program Coordinator, Mariana Mejía Ahrens, about the “Radio and the Performing Arts” exhibit and the challenge of making it available online.

Additionally, the exhibit was featured on a post written for the library’s blog Flipside: behind the scenes at the Marvin Duchow Music Library.

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the wonderful staff from the Marvin Duchow Music Library, and are thrilled to have them be part of the Centennial celebration.
